Website Privacy Policy

In short: this website collects almost nothing. If you join the launch list or send us a message, we get the details you type. Aggregate analytics tell us which pages are read. There are no accounts, we do not sell anything to anyone, and we have no access to your Airtable data from this site.

This policy covers the website at airwidgets.app, published by Knock Knock Bang LLC. The Air Widgets iOS app is a separate thing with a separate policy — see the Air Widgets App Privacy Policy.

What you give us

Two places on this site collect anything, and both are things you choose to fill in:

  • The launch list. Your email address, so we can tell you when Air Widgets reaches the App Store. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we use the list for nothing else.
  • The contact form. Whatever you type — typically a name, an email address, and your message — so we can reply. Please do not send us anything confidential through it.

Form submissions are stored in this site’s database and emailed to us. We use Gravity Forms to run the forms and a transactional email service to deliver the mail; both act on our behalf.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and roughly where visitors come from. It is aggregate: we do not use it to identify individuals, and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking on this site.

Analytics never runs on the pages the app itself opens. The Air Widgets app links to /app-terms/ and /app-privacy/, and it can open help articles in an in-app view. Those surfaces have analytics stripped at the server, because the app’s own App Store privacy label says it collects nothing and those pages have to match it.

Cookies

Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell repeat visits apart. Gravity Forms may set a short-lived cookie to keep a partially filled form. Nothing on this site sets an advertising cookie. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the site works without them.

Hosting and delivery

The site is served through a hosting provider and a content-delivery network, which process request data such as your IP address and browser type in order to serve pages and protect the site from abuse. That is ordinary web-server logging, and we do not build profiles from it.

Who else is involved

  • Google Analytics — aggregate site measurement.
  • Our forms and email providers — to receive and deliver what you send us.
  • Our host and CDN — to serve the site.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it except as needed to run the things above or where the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting

Launch-list entries are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Contact messages are kept as long as they are useful for support, then deleted. Ask us at hello@airwidgets.app and we will remove what we hold about you.

Children

This site is aimed at people building things in Airtable for work. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
