Air Widgets App – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Air Widgets iOS app (“the App”), published by Knock Knock Bang LLC. By downloading or using the App, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; these Terms supplement it, and if there is a conflict for App Store distribution, Apple’s applicable terms control.

Licence

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.

Your Airtable account and third-party services

Air Widgets works with Airtable. You must have your own Airtable account and comply with Airtable’s terms. Your relationship with Airtable is between you and Airtable; we do not control Airtable and are not responsible for its availability, changes, pricing, rate limits, data handling, or the data you store there. You are responsible for the tokens and authorisations you create, for the scopes you grant, and for keeping your credentials secure.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for what you choose to display. A widget sits on your Home Screen, where it can be seen by anyone who can see your screen — so take care before putting sensitive figures on it. You are also responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and with any obligations you owe to the people whose information is in your base.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

No guarantee that a widget is current or correct

This is the risk that matters for this app, so it is worth stating plainly. A widget shows a reading taken at some point in the past. iOS decides when a widget may refresh, and it may delay or skip refreshes based on battery, network, and how you use your device. A reading can also be out of date or wrong because of connectivity, Airtable availability or rate limits, a change to your base, or a fault in the App itself. When the App cannot reach Airtable it may keep showing the last value it retrieved.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for any decision made, action taken, or loss suffered in reliance on a number shown by a widget. Treat a widget as a glance, not a source of truth — open Airtable before acting on anything that matters.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL KNOCK KNOCK BANG LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR US$10. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knock Knock Bang LLC from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the App, the data you choose to display, or your violation of these Terms or of Airtable’s terms.

Purchases and subscriptions

The App offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription as an in-app purchase through Apple. Billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple under your App Store account, and you can manage or cancel in your Apple settings. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Features and pricing may change, and paid features may not be available in all versions or regions.

Updates, changes, and termination

We may update the App and these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the App and delete it at any time. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these Terms.

Apple

Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Dane County, Wisconsin, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
