On the Widgets tab, tap +. Then:
- Pick a type — a single number, a ring, a list, a countdown, and so on.
- Pick the base, table, and view it should read from. The view matters: a widget shows what that view shows, so filtering the view filters the widget.
- Choose the fields it displays, and any options the type offers.
A live preview redraws as you change things, so you can see the widget before you place it.
Give it a name and an accent colour while you are there. A Home Screen with several widgets on it is much easier to read when they are not all the same colour.
